Official Description
The Lusitano is a Portuguese horse breed, closely related to the Spanish Andalusian horse. Originally bred for war, dressage, and bullfighting, Lusitanos are still used today for the latter two activities. These horses have notably thick manes and tails, much like their Andalusian cousins.
