The Grand Stable is a building that players can keep multiple horses in. Every country has their own Grand Stable, even Fantasy Island. First Grand Stable to be unlocked is in Deauville, France, at level 15. The Grand Stables vary in their capacity (number of places for horses) and look. They can be upgraded all the way to level 6 to make more room.
Building and upgrading Edit
Grand Stables can be built like any other building from the building menu. Building level 1 Grand Stables cost coins, but most of the upgrades require Diamonds. Upgrading can be done by clicking on the Grand Stable and then choosing the upwards arrow icon. The upgrade pop up will tell you how much it costs to upgrade, how long it takes and how much extra space you get.
Although upgrading Grand Stables can be quite expensive (e.g. 2500 diamonds for a level 5 Grand Stable in England), some of the diamonds can be recovered through the quests. The quests for upgrading Grand Stables reward diamonds and in higher levels some common Jewels, so you might not end up paying 2500 diamonds for your upgrade, as you might get 1500 diamonds back as a reward for completing a quest. Check the quests carefully before upgrading to make sure that you will be getting a reward.
Grand Stables are used to have more room for the horses. They become a very important asset in the higher levels, when players have multiple horses they like to keep and breed to higher tiers. Horses that are placed in the Grand Stables cannot race in Steeplechases and cannot be fed, and they will not generate income while in the Grand Stable. However, they can be used for breeding, Purebreeders Society tasks and Horse Racing events. Horses can be trained via Stablehands while they are in the Grand Stable.
Moving horses in and out of the Grand Stable Edit
Moving horses around costs coins. The cost depends on the rarity level of the horse. It is cheaper to move horses out of the Grand Stable than put more horses in. There are many ways to move horses back and forth. It can be done individually by visiting a horse in its stable and clicking on the Grand Stable icon in the bottom left-hand corner. The pop up will confirm the move to the Grand Stable and tell the cost of it. Another way is to click on the Grand Stable, click on the horse icon and drag a horse from the stable list to the Grand Stable or vice versa. This way you can move many horses at once before confirming the changes.
